OPTICS ROTATION

The Optics Rotation Course (PHY-582) is a unique, two-credit course for beginning graduate students that allows them to gain research experience in our optics laboratories and the LTC at Stony Brook University and Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Optical science students spend three to eight week periods each in several appropriate research groups.  Each "rotation period" ends with an oral 10-minute presentation and a report that describes the topics studied and the project done.
